Description
4-Port QC 3.0 Field Charger Enclosure (XT60)
> A rugged, 3D-printable enclosure for a powerful 4-port USB Quick Charge (QC 3.0) station. This case is designed to house the **AJ-27-4L** board, allowing you to build a field-ready charger that runs off FPV drone batteries or other DC power sources.
This enclosure allows you to create a robust, high-speed charging hub perfect for off-grid or field use. It converts a wide 6-32V DC input into four independent Quick Charge 3.0 USB-A ports, enabling simultaneous fast charging for multiple phones, radios, and other electronics.
The design is optimized for volunteer projects, outdoor enthusiasts, or anyone needing reliable power far from an outlet.
### Key Features
* **4x Simultaneous QC 3.0:** Provides full-speed Quick Charge 3.0 on all four ports at the same time.
* **Wide Voltage Input:** The case is built for a board that accepts 6-32V, making it compatible with most LiPo/LiFePO4 batteries from 2S up to 8S.
* **Secure Input:** Features a cutout for a panel-mount **XT60** connector, ensuring a secure, high-current connection to your battery.
* **Durable Design:** A strong, compact case designed to be printed in durable materials (like PETG or ABS) to withstand field conditions.
### Required Hardware (Bill of Materials)
To complete this build, you will need:
* **1x** 3D Printed Enclosure (This STL)
* **1x** `AJ-27-4L` 4-Port QC 3.0 DC-DC Step-Down Module
* **1x** `XT60-F` (Female) Panel Mount Connector
### Printing Recommendations
* **Material:** PETG, ABS, or ASA is highly recommended for better heat resistance and durability. PLA may warp if the module gets hot.
* **Layer Height:** 0.2mm
* **Infill:** 20-30%
* **Supports:** Supports will be needed for the USB-A and XT60 port cutouts.
