Description of the 3D printer collection funnel

The developed collection funnel serves to cleanly and reliably discharge accumulating material or failed prints from the 3D printer. It is not permanently connected to the printer, which effectively prevents a material build-up in the print chamber. In this way, possible blockages can be avoided and unintentional print cancellations can be prevented.

The funnel is guided through the worktop and directs the material directly into a trash can placed underneath. For different application scenarios, it has an optional higher back panel that can be securely attached to the funnel with three clamps. This increases safety and prevents material from overshooting.

The bottom pipe of the funnel can be extended with a DN40 HT pipe if required, to precisely adapt the discharge to individual conditions.

The collection funnel thus offers a flexible, functional, and easy-to-integrate solution for optimizing the 3D printing workflow.
