Description

I had three problems with Deskware:

  1. The bottoms of the drawers were right against the desk, so they wouldn't clear a desk mat in front of the Deskware build.
  2. I have cable pass-through grommets in my desk which stick up a few millimeters and interfered with the drawers.
  3. I wanted to be able to run cables front--to-back without giving up a whole drawer space.

Adding a toe kick to my Deskware solved all three problems.  Toe Kick raises the Deskware up by just enough to allow for the HoK connectors between the bottoms of the Deskware risers and the Toe Kick riser boosters.  There are faceplates that have various holes for cables or no holes at all, as well as a STEP file to help you make your own.  A cover piece connects onto the back of the faceplate and sits 1mm below the bottom of the Deskware drawer, keeping any cables or anything else in the toe kick space from catching on the drawer.

The STL files are oriented for printing.  The faceplates are on edge for maximal strength and flexibility along their length and through the end tabs and connectors.  This may require some care in printing, but generally worked fine for me.
