Description

This 3D-printed sleeve is designed to turn a 3V LED filament into a stylish, self-contained light module for creative projects. The LED filament is guided in a smooth helical path around the sleeve, held securely by evenly spaced grooves. Powered by a standard 3V CR2 battery, the assembly becomes a compact and elegant light source that’s perfect for decorative builds, prototypes, or ambient lighting.

 

In addition to the LED filament and the printed parts, you will need two spring-steel battery contacts to connect the CR2 cell. Please note that the current version does not yet include an on/off switch—the design is still being developed, and a revised version with integrated switching is planned.

 

The model prints easily without supports and provides a clean, consistent guide for the filament. Simply insert the LED filament, wrap it along the helical channels, add the battery and contacts, and enjoy a bright, visually striking light element you can integrate into your next 3D-printed creation.
