Update 5/7/2026: Made it through the winter with no issues! The last few days I had my winter wheels on it was over 80 degrees and parked outside. I think the center caps keep the sun off enough for the PLA to stay firm. The guy at the tire store was pretty blown away that you could just do this haha
I recently put some base Ford Maverick wheels on my 2021 Ford escape and to my surprise, they use different lug nut sizes. I was able to whip up these 19mm to 21mm adapters that allow me to use the Maverick's wheel covers with my Escape's lug nuts.
