Do to fitment you should really post some simple instructions. I love the idea and concept , but fitment is not all that great unless im doing it wrong. But I cant tell if im doing it wrong cus I have no directions in front of me.

I am actually going to work on making the Arm to Cuff a threaded connection, and see if I can do the same for the hand maybe. The "alignment" pin is flawed I believe, just don't use it.

yeah i notice in the tik tok video there is no pin. Is that even you in the video? Seems fishy like this isnt your model maybe.

Had issues with the white cuff. Not sure what happened, but I didn't print right and I had to file down the edge to get the arm to fit and even still it had a gap. I'm new to printing so I have no idea how to fix this. over all it was a great print. I ended up 3d printing the M6 screws lol. Added glue to them as I screwed them in place I also combined three patterns to get the ornament and angry bunny 🤣 I printed in pla and will be using a UV protector spray on it. Printed out a hitch pin as well

mine was the same when I was able to get the hand to fit the cuff with the rectangle alignment block. I wish the designer would have made all the pieces screw together, maybe some one can remix them to screw together instead.

I used drywall screws instead of m6. A boat load of glue as well. Hopefully it survives the holidays!

Yes its in testing, would you like to test it? I haven't heard back from the last person, had success with the hand but needed cuff modifications

Hello friend's I am printing The Grinch Truck Hitch hand 3.0 The white sleeve cap came out great but the red hitch and sleeve has a defect - I tried 2 different filaments and resliced the file but it remains. I’m printing in PLA. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated https://makerworld.com/en/models/1995878-grinch-hitch-hand-3-0-seen-on-tiktok#profileId-2148426

the stinger should be laying flat on the bed, it looks like you may need to do a flow calibration. what printer are you using?

Hi! Mine kept failing until I printed them separately. They don't seem to play well together.

Ok thanks and what is the best way to attach the arms? Do you use screws where the holes are?

Replying to @Anvangosen90 :
Stinger to arm is a screw connection. all others are glue, dont use the square piece as it dosent work as intended.

my biggest challenge is getting the support off from the bottom of the cuff. PETG sticks to PETG pretty good. I tried using PLA as a support and that wasn’t much better. I’ll have to play around with z offset and see if that helps.

I use a pick tool, get all the way to the supoort interface pull it away abit then slide my bed scraper in and it pops right off. ill try and remember to do a video on my next set

Did you use treelike or linear supports? I used treelike with a brim and cannot get the supports out. I am going to try linear without a brim and see if that will remove easier. Linear removed from the hand easier.

the profile has a modifiers if you used the 3mf. I manually painted regular supports on just the very bottom

love it! the designer even made and extended stinger for my hitch because it’s so low and underneath the van, the shorter default one didn’t stick out far enough! thanks again!
