DIY Undergravel Filter — Designed for Crystal Shrimp

This undergravel filter is self-designed by me, specifically created for the breeding environment of crystal shrimp and various ornamental shrimp

Overall dimensions are 10 x 10 cm, with a minimum height of 19 cm, simple in structure yet comprehensive in function

Design Features

* Extension tube configuration: Comes with two extension tubes, one 13 cm long, the other 5 cm long
* Can be freely connected according to the aquarium height, flexibly adapting to different tank types

* Air pump driven water flow:
The air pump injects air into the bottom, pushing water flow through the mud or sand inside the box, forming natural filtration and simulating an ecological environment
* Water surface ripple suppressor tube (optional accessory):
The top of the filter is equipped with a professionally designed water surface ripple suppressor tube, which can effectively reduce water surface ripples, preventing splashes from spilling out of the aquarium and maintaining a stable living environment for crystal shrimp • This accessory is an optional design, can be added independently according to the aquarium situation, and is not mandatory to use

Special Notes

* When in use, please ensure the air pump and tubing are well connected to maintain stable water flow
* This accessory design is complete, no need to purchase additional parts, just combine with an air pump and tubing to put into use

First of all, many thanks to @user_572756767 for suggesting improvements to the work

The latest Tube V2 and Filter 3FM V2 files have been uploaded, which update the previous defect of oversized tubing that might lead to water backflow The newly updated tubing has a reduced diameter and now uses a threaded design

If anyone needs to replace with Tube V2, you can directly replace the existing first version of the tubing The base and other accessories do not need to be reprinted

Additionally, the old version of the suppressor has not been changed, therefore it is not compatible with Tube V2 I will update the compatible suppressor later

The first version of the files is still available for download in the print files
