This is a passive rotating outlet (20mm pipe diameter) for an aquarium filter. My sump filter's water flow is quite noisy, and I referenced many passive rotating outlets for sale, but due to budget constraints and having leftover bearings, I designed this model. After using it for a while, I found it works well, so I'm sharing it with everyone.
This model uses water flow to drive the impeller, creating a turbulence effect to slow down the water flow from the filter outlet, achieving noise reduction and dispersing fish waste. It can be used for filter spray bars or outlets.

This model requires one 6801 PP or ceramic bearing, with dimensions: 12x21x5, costing approximately 1.2 yuan each.

I used leftover materials, so constrained by the bearing's inner diameter, this passive rotating outlet is only suitable for small aquariums (60cm tanks and below) with 20mm PVC pipe diameter. A water pump power of 10-25W and a flow rate not exceeding 2000L/H are recommended.

Assembly is simple: install according to the order in the diagram, place the bearing and bearing limit ring in the middle of the threaded pipe, and tighten. Drip a small amount of glue on the outside of the bearing limit ring, then install the inlet/outlet main body. A small amount of PTFE tape may be needed when connecting to the filter pipe, or it can be omitted.
