Tiny Car Wing GT3-style
Print Profile(1)

Description
Miniature wing, inspired by the Porsche 911 GT3 (992 generation) with the iconic "goose neck" support struts.
Small scale model of the wing featured on the Porsche 911 GT3 (992 generation). It should go without saying, but this is not a functional wing and is intended for decorative purposes only; assemble to a real vehicle at your own risk. I modeled this wing off of images of the 992.1 GT3 (not 3D scanned or really reverse engineered).
Zip folder contains an eDrawings file of the full assembly for reference (download the free eDrawings Viewer to open).
Assembly procedure:
- Slide the Wing Brackets from the under side of wing, and secure to Wing Struts using M3 screws (12mm long) + hex nuts.
- Wing endplates need to be glued to the main wing span. It is easier to assemble the brackets+struts first (tighten the screws) and then glue the endplates on after assembly.
Suggested print settings:
- PETG or other material suitable for outdoor environments.
- Supports required.
- Smallest layer height will result in better looking curved surfaces.
- If mounting to a real car, printing for high strength is a good idea. (higher wall loops + infill)
