AYN Thor Grip

Added 2 models for tolerance testing to reduce faulty prints and to lower print time overall, they are 1:1 with the grip so just scale inside the slicer to get the fit you like. Remember, V2 model requires the felt pieces to fit correctly, so does the tolerance testing.  CAD file for just the frame of grip also uploaded. You can edit the model's F3D file to tighten tolerances to run without the felt if you wish.

Uploaded F3D file containing all smooth model variants. I do not have the thor anymore since I bought a laptop for a portable work setup. There is 100% room to add stylus support near the bottom and if you want a kick-stand version I'd just recommend getting a mag-safe stand but 3d-printed kickstand is possible if you replace the mag-safe section with that feature. Realistically If someone want's to continue working on this I can provide a link to their project on this page and the printables page.

New V2 Version, Bigger handles more comfortable. Better texture for grip, two new versions of Small-Medium and Medium-Large hands. Added mag safe cutout to attach power bank on back. See last two photos for comparison.

REQUIRED
You will need felt fabric as the device for the V2 Version. Was made with this in mind so device will not stay without it. Install felt inside on both sides and the middle cutout section (can install on the front as well).

For Magsafe you can use any ring you find, I cut a portion of the ring off mine which requires a dremel or some other heavy duty tool like mini bolt cutter.

Never designed a grip before but I wanted a grip and wasn't a fan of the available options. Step files included if you want to try your hand at making one. The base I made for it fits really good surprisingly, however I will make an alternative version to make space for padding (used without the padding and zero scratches so far).

Print with IO Ports facing plate so no supports are generated.
