Description

If your tired of your charging cable (Battery Tender and similar devices) dangling from your bike and potentially getting snagged or rubbing your paint? Mount your charging input under your seat so its never in your way again. Requires the purchase of a new input, easily gotten within 2-3 days from the local jungle website. Model is created to use M3 screws with heatset inserts. But self-tapping screws may work just as well. Install on bike using a ¼-20 cap or socket head screw. You may have most of it laying around the garage, especially if you replaced bolts on your bike before with fancy chrome or painted ones. Recommend some blue loctite to keep it from vibrating loose and some wire loom to cover the wires exposed (as you see in the pic). Printed in ABS due to its proximity to cylinder head. ASA may be suitable, but PLA is not recommended.

  1. Install heatset thread inserts using hot soldering iron into two pre-formed holes on front.
  2. Install mount onto motorcycle left or right side using ¼-20 bolt into frame. Blue loctite recommended.
  3. Pass wires through opening.
  4. Install M3 screws with blue loctite. Charging port should fit into recess.
  5. Route wires your desired way to battery connections and remove loose factory/aftermarket charge port.

I have a ‘22 Road Glide. I had to grind off the “nub” and use double stick tape and one of the existing screws. seems to be in the same exact mount location. also had to grind out the middle of the slot. My OEM charger was slightly wider.
