Description
Beta Fume Extractor for X1 Carbon using 120mm*32mm Blower.
Super simple.
Printed in ABS, extra draft. Blower secured to adapter via M3x12 bolts in M3 heat set inserts.
Adapter secured to X1 C via unused holes above and below the "chamber fan" outlet tapped with an M3 tap.
Extractor hose is ~30mm that I had from another project. Threw the hose out a window, and used a buck boost converter to supply ~6v to the 12v fan, to keep the flow rate low. I have run this for a couple months without issues, and without any smell of ABS or otherwise.
