Since the Amazon Fire HD 10 (9th Generation) is suitable as an affordable yet fully functional Home Assistant dashboard, I looked for a suitable mount – but found nothing that met my requirements.
That's why I developed this functional and visually appealing wall mount myself.
The holder allows for side mounting on a wall or furniture and positions the tablet at a comfortable viewing angle. It is secured with 3 countersunk screws, which disappear cleanly into the material and are not visible from the front.
Update (17.11.2025):
Second holder added. This one can be mounted directly from the front. It also offers the comfortable operating angle and practical cable management. This one is also attached to the wall with 3 countersunk screws.

- Tablet can be easily inserted and removed
- On/Off button remains freely accessible

- Supports required, but easy to remove (Feedback on printing without supports is welcome)
Note on power supply
For continuous operation, it is recommended to use a weaker charger (e.g., 5V/1A) and to adjust the charging settings in the tablet to preserve the battery long-term.
This makes the device ideal as a Smart Home Control Panel for Home Assistant or similar applications.
Print recommendations
- Layer height: 0.16 mm (for clean visible edges & precise fit), 0.20mm also sufficient and faster printing possible
- Nozzle: 0.40 mm
- Infill: 15–25 % (e.g., Grid / Gyroid)
- Wall thickness: 2 completely sufficient
- Material: PLA works very well – PETG possible if exposed to heat
- Supports: required (especially under the upper support surfaces),
but are easy to remove
