Hello everyone, here is a small 100% 3D printed wind-up car equipped with a functional twin-cylinder engine. The spring mechanism moves the car forward and turns the engine. THE TIRES !!! In the standard print profiles, you will find rims designed to receive TPU tires with a hardness between 60A and 85A. If you do not have the ability to print this type of TPU, do not worry, you will find a print profile for rims that can receive TPU tires for AMS or even PLA. Note; with PLA tires your car will lose traction and skid

 

I have deliberately left significant functional clearances to compensate for tolerance variations between different printers. This does not exclude checking each part during assembly: the axles and gears must rotate freely, check the gear teeth and be careful of possible deformations when removing parts from a still-hot build plate
