Description
🧩 Reinforced part for grinder accessory – Improved 3D Printed version (food contact)
This part (in green in the photo) is an improved reproduction of an original plastic element of a grinder, which broke over time.
I redesigned the 3D model by adding more material to fragile areas to increase mechanical strength while maintaining compatibility with the original mounting.
🔧 Technical details :
- Part 3D Printed in PLA (food-grade version recommended if possible)
- Compatible with the original grinder without modification
- Reinforced structure for better rigidity and durability
- Designed for easy printing, without supports
- Smooth surface for easy cleaning
🖨️ Printing recommendations :
- Material : food-grade PLA (or food-grade PETG for more resistance)
- Infill : 80 % or more
- Layer height : 0.2 mm
- Orientation : flat to maximize solidity
- Clean the part thoroughly before each use
⚠️ Warning :
This part comes into contact with food.
It is therefore recommended to use a food-contact certified filament, without toxic dyes, and to avoid prolonged use at high temperatures.
💡 Project objective :
Replace a broken original plastic part with a more robust and durable 3D printed version, while preserving food safety and the functionality of the grinder.
