Round up is the traditional orientation, but I wasn&#39;t happy with the top surface. Ironing circles of varying heights was a struggle. My solution was to split the flower into 2 pieces so both “top” surfaces could be printed on the plate side for a buttery smooth finish. This also allows for an easy (non traditional) multi-color option. Changing color by layer height would do the same I suppose, but that wasn&#39;t my original intention.&nbsp;The supports have been tuned to pop out pretty cleanly. I use the bottom of a fine-tip sharpie or some other similar cylindrical shape to push the support out from the center hole.&nbsp;The pieces fit pretty snug, but I have been gluing them so the center doesn&#39;t spin in the outer petal part.
