8-Slot Print Plate Storage with Buttons FNT-H2D/H2C
Print Profile(1)

Description
This 8-slot Plate Holder was created with the support of Frantisek23, building upon his model https://makerworld.com/de/models/1926267-fnt-standalone-plates-holder-for-h2d#profileId-2067378. All parts were newly designed from scratch.
Its side parts can still be combined with mine!
Adjustment: for the H2C & H2S, these parts are to be printed: "FNT_H2C_S8_Front_redesign" & "FNT_H2C_S8_Back_redesign". The rest are combinable with each other!
Change history of the files:
Changes on 2026-02-26:
- Release of “FNT_H2x_S8_Side_Right_Basement” & "FNT_H2x_S8_Side_Left_Basement", which fit the H2D and H2C variants. The basement parts are needed if the printer is to stand on the Plate Holder.
- FNT_H2C_S8_Front_redesign & FNT_H2C_S8_Back_redesign: Adjustment of the chamfers
The changes are:
- Change of the inner geometry of the rear main body (=FNT_H2D_S8_Back_redesign), because the H2D/H2S print plates have a different geometry for centering in the printer than the previous plates for the smaller Bambu Lab printers (e.g. P1S etc.). This means the plates now fit completely into the slots.
- Higher (1.95mm instead of 1.7mm) and narrower slots of the two main bodies (=FNT_H2D_S8_Back_redesign & FNT_H2D_S8_Front_redesign), which hold the plates. This allows third-party plates such as Printcore plates or CR3D plates to be used. Due to the narrower slots, the Plate Holder can also be used vertically (with a suitable stand or, for example, hung on an AMS raiser). The vision encoder plate also fits with protective films, but has corresponding play on the side of the H2D.
- Adjustment of the lever: This is now based on a straight-toothed gear with 73 teeth and module 1.25. In addition, the transmission ratio between the lever side with the teeth and the side with the pusher has been changed to 1:1.5. This causes the plates to extend further.
- Due to the change in the lever, the actuator also had to be redesigned. This is now based on a rack with module 1.25 and flank angle 20° (like the lever).
- The main bodies front and back have additionally received holes for threaded inserts (M4, 8.1mm long), which fit Ruthex RX-M4x8.1, CNC-Kitchen and China-No-Name threaded inserts (core hole Ø 5.6mm). In addition, these are deepened so that any accumulating burrs do not require post-processing.
- The T-slot and case width have been retained so that Frantisek23's side parts can still be used.
- Own side parts: one version without additional holes and one with. The one with holes can be used for further conceivable attachments, such as a stand for vertical placement.
Notes on printing:
Before printing, please calibrate the filament used: i.e. flow dynamics = K-factor and flow rate
Support structures are only needed to a small extent (see screenshots). The standard settings of Bambu Studio work perfectly.
Print profile: 0.2mm Standard @BBL H2D & 0.16mm Balanced Quality @BBL H2D (for the actuators, levers and side parts)
Layer height: 0.2 mm/0.15
Nozzle Ø: 0.4mm
Number of wall lines: 6 for side parts, rest 3
Number of top and bottom layers: 5 or 6
Infill: 15% Gyroid
Wall generator: Classic (for main body Back: Arachne)
Main body Front & Back: Can be printed from any material. I would recommend Greentec Pro or PET-G or PCTG, as these hardly shrink and are not too hard (due to possible scratches). PLA, ABS etc. are of course also possible. For ABS and ASA, shrinkage would have to be taken into account (Bambulab ABS in light blue was 0.51% for me → scaling factor for X and Y: 1.0051 or 100.51%)
The back part should be printed from a height of 185mm to 186mm with a layer height of 0.16mm or even lower.
Side parts: See main body
Actuator and lever: Ideally PET-G or PCTG, due to low friction. PLA, ABS etc. also possible
My execution:
Main body Front & Back as well as the side parts printed from black Greentec Pro by Extrudr. This behaves similarly to PLA, but prints more beautifully (larger unsupported overhang angles possible, higher temperature resistance and slightly higher toughness, slightly softer). The shrinkage was 0.16%. However, this does not have to be considered.
I printed the parts with 3 walls and 6 bottom and top layers each with the 0.4mm standard nozzle.
I used the 0.2mm profile. For the back part, I printed from a height of 185mm to 186mm with a layer height of 0.16mm.
I only used support on the back in the area of the levers (rest via support blockers)
For the front, support is only needed on the T-guides (see pictures).
I also printed the side parts from Greentec-Pro, but with 6 wall lines and 0.15mm layer height.
The lever and actuator were printed from BBL ABS Light Blue with a height of 0.15mm. (Used profile "0.16mm Balanced Quality @BBL H2D" and adjusted to 0.15mm). Previously scaled in X and Y with factor 100.51.
Assembly:
The assembly is actually self-explanatory. A tip before assembly: Deburr the edges of the back part into which the lever is inserted and over which it pivots. Then it will run very smoothly later.
The joint of the two main bodies should also be deburred if necessary.
Assembly order:
Connect and screw the main body to the side parts.
Insert the actuators and levers working from inside to outside, then you can easily unclip them again if there are errors.
When inserting, first thread the actuator through and then place the lever with its teeth against the teeth of the actuator. The 1st tooth or the uppermost tooth must be that of the actuator (See pictures)

A huge thank you for that too. Your recognition is incredibly motivating :)
