on my a1, when I open this model, plates 1 and 4 show the nice mesh, but when I print, it comes out a solid disk. any thoughts on why?

Leave everything as default, if instead you use your own settings, on plates 1 and 4 in "resistance" you must set "top shell layer" and "bottom shell layer" to the value "0"

0.2mm layer, 4 walls, 15% infill
The TPU insert is undersized. I scaled it to 96mm and increased the thickness to 3mm and now it fits perfectly in the coaster body.
