Description

Collection Tip: Bambu Lab A2L: A2Lineage Design Journey

The A2Lineage Design Journey combines proven designs with new developments created specifically for the A2L platform.

Existing models only become part of this collection after verification on the actual machine. Compatibility is never assumed and every model must earn its place through testing and real world use.

New designs will join the collection as the platform evolves, while established favorites transition only when they truly meet my standards.

I should’ve done this first, just like with a smartphone, install a screen protector.

Designed as part of my ongoing collection of practical Bambu Lab upgrades. Each model is conceived, printed, and endurance-tested on my own machines, refined through dozens of iterations to match the printer’s true mechanical behavior.

Precision isn't assumed here, it’s verified layer by layer.

Bambu Lab P2S: P2Series Design Journey
Bambu Lab X2D: X2Design Journey

Follow me if you like my work, that kind of appreciation really dries my filament. Likes and boosts feed the Maker World algorithm and keep the new models coming

Now I’ve got the first scratch, and I’m annoyed, because a replacement display costs about a quarter of the printer’s price. Two A4 sheets of screen protector film cost 5 € on Amazon. Bought!

With this model, you can cut a perfectly sized protector for your X2d or P2S touchscreen and apply it easily. Hopefully, you’re doing this before the first scratch appears.

It’s best used together with the model P2S and X2D Screen Frame ⧸ Name Tag Customizable to hide the trimming edges and give the display a clean finished look.

What you’ll need:

– DIY screen protector film (cut-to-fit)
– Double-sided tape (makes trimming easier)
– Sharp knife, scalpel, or craft cutter

Part #25 in my P2Series Design Journey.

Part #42 in my X2Design Journey.
