GuardCap - Windshield Wiper Fluid Cap Replacement

Five years ago, I faced a broken windshield washer cap in frigid Canadian weather. Frustrated with waiting for an OEM replacement, I designed my own.

I've desinged a range of caps for various Ford vehicles. Tested on multiple models, they're designed for easy snap-in and snug rotation. Simply print in ABS or ASA, use supports, and you're good to go!

The tab is there if you want to add a retainer, I would use a stainless steel wire and loop it around the container.

I've included a blank one in case you want to add your own design.

Tested Vehicles:

• Ford Focus ST
• Ford Focus RS
• Ford Focus
• Ford Escape
• Ford F150 - 2014

Engines tested on 2.3L and 2.0L - It should fit on most but not tested yet:

• Ford Mustang 2.3 Ecoboost
• Ford Maverick 2.0

The ones that have not been tested yet, are the bigger engines, for the Mustang, SUVs, and Trucks.

For any other fords with similar configurations, I'm expecting them to have used the same windshield washer fluid container.

Printing:

ABS or ASA recommended - I haven't tested any other material but PETG might withstand the heat in the engine.

0.2mm height and use supports, print with the logo up.
