I offer you a set of custom protective jaws for Parkside clamps
Compatible with 85 mm long clamp models
This project includes two print plates
- Plate 1: flat jaws for classic clamping
- Plate 2: jaws with a V-shape allowing a tube to be held firmly without slipping out of the clamp
Design and Printing Details
- Original creation made on Fusion 360
- Recommended material: PETG for good mechanical resistance
- Printing orientation: horizontal for better strength
- Assembly: the jaws clip directly into the clamp
Details per plate
Plate 1 – Flat jaws
- no supports
- Small overhang printed without issue
- Part dimensions: 17.20 mm × 10.80 mm
Plate 2 – V-jaws
- Tree support mandatory
- Support with interface: I used a different support filament (support filament and PETG for the part but you can use PETG for the part and PLA for the support)
- Support settings:
- Z distance: greater than 0
- Interface pattern: rectilinear
- Interface spacing: greater than 0
- Check “Z overrides X/Y”
- Uncheck “Independent layer height for supports”
Adhesion
- Addition of an outer brim to improve bed adhesion
- Brim offset: 0.2 mm to prevent it from sticking to the part
Strength Settings
- Infill: 100 % for maximum strength
- Number of walls: 3
Other models for larger clamp sizes coming soon
