Ibis MTB Threaded Bar End Plugs

Do you have a set of Ibis Hi-Fi or Lo-Fi carbon MTB handlebars with the alloy bar end plugs removed and want to plug the threaded holes? If you are running foam grips or slip on's like ESI, ERGON, and others that have press in end plugs, you know they frustratingly don't fit in the threaded holes of the Ibis bars!

Featuring side specific regular and reverse threads, these threaded bar ends fit the Ibis M16 fine threaded holes just like the factory More-On's and Core-Sample plugs do. Each side plug is labeled with a side marking “R” or "L" on the end that is hidden when installed and a directional arrow to indicate tightening direction “L>” or “<R”. 

All bar ends feature a 6mm hex key drive for easy installation and removal.

There are 2 different diameters to choose from: 22.2mm OD bar ends fit MTB handlebars completely flush and are useful if you use foam grips as no removal is needed to remove grips or non-hinged bar clamps like droppers and shifters. The 26mm OD ends are larger than the 22.2mm bar and work well with Ergon and other slip-on brands that use a larger diameter end plug to cover the internal slip on sleeve.

All bar ends should be printed with a 0.1mm layer height print profile to produce the smoothest, well-fitting M16 FINE threads. Stock 0.2mm layer height produces too sloppy of a thread to be reliable.
