Description
Hello,
I am sharing the design of my "roller" for boilies (for carp fishing)
Machine tested and approved by me
There are 5 plates for a total of approximately 55 hours of printing
For the base:
It is cut on two plates. You just need to assemble them using the centering pins and a little super glue (I use super glue, and it works very well!)
Remember to enable supports for the base (the "classic auto" mode works very well)
For the rollers:
They are also cut into two "half shells" and laid flat for a cleaner print finish
You will need to assemble them using the centering pins (which print at the same time as the side flanges)
For the Flanges:
Pre-drilled holes are provided at their base to allow for a motor mount to motorize the machine (under design and coming in the next evolution). For my part, I assembled them by gluing. But you can also plan to drill them (the flanges) and put a screw insert (in the base) to make them removable
Remember to enable supports (the "tree auto" mode works very well) This is for the two pre-drilled holes for the motor mount
Once everything is printed, you will need to get an M8 threaded rod 50cm long (to insert in the center of the assembled rollers), a few M8 nuts, washers and two 62*30*16 bearings (SKF 6206 type) to insert into the housing of the two flanges
Once assembled, it is 44 cm long, allowing 19 boilies of 20mm (± 1mm) to be produced with each roller turn
To be used with a screwdriver or a crank (to be made by yourself)
Other versions in 15mm and 30mm are available on my profile
Major improvements are underway such as the addition of my roller conveyor (which you can find on my Maker profile), the installation of a motor kit + speed controller
Feel free to leave your feedback and ideas in the comments to help improve the machine. All ideas are welcome :-)
