In the misty morning of the Jade Ridge Valley, a tiny but fierce guardian sat proudly atop a stone outcrop. His fur was white as frost, his whiskers twitching in irritation. The Angry White Tiger was not angry because of danger or enemies. No. He was angry because someone dared to steal his breakfast dumpling again. š¤š¾
He stomped his little paws, sending tiny puffs of dust into the air. Birds scattered. Leaves trembled. Even the wind chose silence. The valley knew that once his tail curled in that tight spiral, something explosive was about to happen. š¢š¬ļø
With a low growl he sniffed the ground, following the trail of sesame scent. He marched through bamboo groves, past ancient lantern stones, and finally spotted a mischievous monkey balancing on a branch, dumpling in hand. The monkey giggled, bouncing left and right. šš
The tiger narrowed his eyes. He crouched. Muscles tensed like coiled springs. Then he pounced. A fast flash of white and he landed perfectly on the branch, right beside the monkey. The monkey froze. The dumpling fell. For a brief moment the world held its breath. šā³
The tiger caught the dumpling with a swift swipe, smirked with absolute smugness, and strutted away with his tail flicking triumphantly. The monkey could only watch as the little guardian returned to his stone perch, chewing happily at last. šÆāØ
He may be small, he may be fluffy, but the Angry White Tiger always wins. Always. šš„
