Description
This is a 4 Bay NAS compatible with Lenovo Thinkcentre M920Q or M720Q.
!!! Make sure to print it at least in PETG to resist with high temperatures !!!
There is a version with magnets allowing you to remove easily the front grid to swap the disk or a version with a fixed front plate if you don't wanna use magnets.
In my case I used a Lenovo M920Q.
I'm running Truenas Scale on it.
For the drives caddy I used the design from Salim Benbouziyane, I slightly changed it to meet my needs. But I highly suggest you to check his work on his youtube channel.
The HBA I chose works flawlessly with Truenas scale when others don't really work well.
But I also found that it gets pretty hot so I designed and printed a fan shroud to cool it down :
