Description

Strike/latch plate router jig. For standard 2.25" tall strike plate, like Reliabilt #0117984.

It has added thickness to work with more widely-available template bits. I used a 1" cut length x ½" diameter template bit with a top bearing. You will need ½" or less diameter bit, at least for the radius of the Reliabilt strike plates.

Includes screw holes to use with #8 Deck Plus screws (you probably don't need all 3…), OR VHB on the back (recommended method).

I’ve had doors without strike plates for probably 4 years because I didn’t want to remove the door stop trim to actually install them. . This was exactly what I needed to rout them.
