Description

Automatic overflow with surface skimmer – you will find 2 different designs in the download: one is the vertical print and the other is the horizontal. they are slightly different in shape due to printing orientation limitation, but both serve the same function.

THE HORIZONTAL-PRINT-OVERFLOW FILE HAS A TUBING FITTING ON TOP TO SUCK OUT TRAPPED AIR:
For it to work, connect a piece of airline tubing and a one-way valve and suck the air out until the tube is filled with water. This helps priming the overflow in case you have problems getting all of the air out.

PRIMING:
To prime the overflow, just submerge it in water and flip it around until all the air gets out. Once the overflow is filled with water, quickly take it out of the water and place the half with the outlet outside of the tank.

SELF-RESET:
Even if the water gets below the skimmer, the overflow will remain primed thanks to an internal barrier that keeps the water trapped inside.
