AirCore Composter - a Bin with a Breathing Skin
Print Profile(1)

Description
The AirCore Composter is a small household compost container designed to recreate the natural balance of a forest floor.
Its unique double-skin structure combines an airtight outer shell with a porous inner layer that lets air circulate freely through the walls. This allows for aerobic composting, preventing bad odors & keeping the compost smelling like fresh soil & wood.
The design encourages waste to “breathe” rather than rot, using only passive airflow.
The result is a clean, self-ventilated compost process that feels organic & effortless.
- Dual-skin system: waterproof outside, breathable inside
- Promotes aerobic decomposition
- Natural air circulation from bottom to top
- Odor-free composting inspired by forest ecosystems
- Designed for kitchens, studios, and small urban spaces
An optional fabric strap (width: 28 mm / 1") can be added to create a simple, comfortable handle, allowing easy transport or hanging on a hook.
