3D Printed Auto-Rewind Cable Reel

This is a 3D printed retractable cable winder designed for neat and practical cable management.
The mechanism uses a constant-tension spiral spring (purchased separately — link below) with the recommended size 0.3 × 3 × 2160 mm.

The spool design keeps one end of the cable fixed, while the other end is extendable and retractable.
Once you pull out the desired cable length, you can lock it in place with the latch.
To rewind, simply release the latch, and the spring-loaded reel will automatically retract the cable.

Two printing profiles are included:

• 🧩 Single-color version (all parts on one print plate)
• 🎨 Multi-color version (two separate print plates)

For best results, enable supports during printing — only a minimal amount is required.

This functional 3D print is ideal for keeping your workspace organized — perfect for USB cables, power cords, and flexible wires.
