Created as a tribute to all who have served — past, present, and future — The Eternal Watch represents the timeless duty, courage, and sacrifice shared across generations. This lithophane depicts three soldiers from different eras standing in unity and remembrance, with a single poppy and cross symbolizing reflection and respect.

Designed to embody quiet strength and gratitude, this piece is ideal for Remembrance Day or as a year-round display to honour those who protect and serve.

Recommended Display:
For the best lighting effect, use a continuous COB LED backlight strip rather than individual bulbs. LEDs provide an even, gentle glow that enhances the details without creating dotted light patterns. A warm white tone gives it a candle-like remembrance feel, while a cool white creates a clean, striking presentation.

Print Settings:

• Printer: Bambu Lab P1S / A1 (or equivalent)
• Material: White or translucent PLA
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Layer Height: 0.16 mm
• Infill: 100% (solid lithophane structure)
• Supports: as already set up on the frame and lithophane 
• Print Time: ~6 hours (lithophane only)
• Frame Print Time: ~3 hours (depending on wall thickness)

Tips:

• Orient the model vertically for best detail resolution.
• Use brim adhesion to ensure clean edge contact.
• Avoid excessive cooling to maintain smooth surface gradients.
• there is also a candle holder for it to stand up on (led candles real ones will melt the lithophane) this can also be used as just a stand in a window
