Description

Replacement Coupling / Drive Connector for Braun Hand Blender Type 4191 (Turbo 500 W, MQ Series)

The original coupling between the motor unit and the chopper blade shaft of my Braun hand blender (Type 4191) broke — instead of throwing away the chopper or buying a new set, I recreated the small connector in CAD and 3D-printed it in PETG. It works perfectly and has been in regular use since.

This part connects the motor drive of the Braun hand blender with the blade shaft inside the chopper bowl.
It’s printed in PETG for a bit of flexibility and better durability compared to PLA.

Assembly notes:

  • The original part can be pulled off with some force; the new one simply presses on.
  • Make sure to align it correctly: there are four grooves/fins with slightly different widths — the wider slot must match the wider ridge on the shaft.

Tested with: Braun Hand Blender Type 4191, 500 W (Turbo)
Material: PETG
Layer height: 0.2 mm recommended
