Looking for an inductive charger with MagSafe, I came across a relatively inexpensive version from the Anker brand on Amazon. This one is half the price and has a cable length of 1.5m instead of the 1.0m Apple MagSafe Pad. To have a better view of the whole thing on my desk or to use it as a clock in standby mode, I was looking to package this inductive holder in an appealing design. The design I saw on Printables from another user “Jagondela” I found to be very clear and modern

 

However, the Anker charger could not be used in the shell as it was, nor was it stable in its position, so I redesigned the entire thing for this holder. The unit is placed in the shell of the base holder and secured with a retaining clip. Some pressure is required here as it is very precisely tolerated. The cable can then be routed downwards through the opening to the back and connected normally. The station can also be used with very thin phone cases, but the risk of it not holding securely then increases. Therefore, I also made a second unit, which is simply clipped to the base just like the other one. This one is tolerated with a bit of space so that a phone with a thin case is held and can be rotated 90 degrees if needed. I tested this here with an iPhone 13 and 14

 

I printed everything from PLA, but with adjusted layer heights for the clips as they need to be a bit finer. For the case clip, there is a profile for which an AMS and PETG are needed as a separation layer, and a profile without. Those who can should use the AMS as the surface and the removal of the support structure are much easier here

 

After some research, I am very sure that this holder with a basic clip should work from iPhone 13 for both the standard and Max models, whether regular or Pro. The normal iPhone Pro will not work here because the camera bump is too close to the MagSafe ring. Without the holder, you can of course use the Anker charging pad as described by the manufacturer

 

If you want to use your Apple MagSafe Pad with this design, the model from the designer on which this remix is based might be a solution, but I cannot give any information about the fit in this case, however, the positive comments speak for themselves
