Harland & Wolff Crane Model Belfast Docks (H&W)
Print Profile(1)

Description
A model of Goliath, one of the Cranes at the Belfast Dock where the Titanic was built. I was very impressed with these cranes on a recent visit, so decided I would try to build a model one. I got a tech drawing of Harland an Wolff website and scaled it from there, so my one is not exact, but very close. I printed it in PLA from Sunlu (Cherry Red, Sunny Yellow) and (Bambu Black Matt). If you print it all from the file, it will need supports on some of the part (This should be setup in the file). Some plates are print by object and some by layer. Although the legs fit into slots, a dab of glue will secure them better in place. I didnt glue the top service crane in as it was a tight fit once printed. There is some gluing of the actual crane drivers (Big Trolly Crane), and also the Black letters need to be glued onto the Horizontal Beam. I made all the bits using FreeCAD. Assembly is straight forward if you look at the picture.
Please give me a like if you like it and put on some photos of your prints. This is the first model ive had a go at on CAD, so please be kind and forgiving if you have any issue. Let me know how it goes if you print it. :-)
