Description

This is several files that allow you to mount the pinched Toyota body from jasonboz56 to a VRD or VRD carbon. Should also work on the Stance to my knowledge but I can only say this works with Portals so far, I think straights would rub in the front. WIll not work with VRD Mullet chassis is different.

Original file here At Jasonboz56 request I have removed “his” body files from this profile you will need to print the Cab, Hood and grill to complete. file below :

https://makerworld.com/en/models/430481-1-10-toyota-comp-crawler-body#profileId-334958

It consists of the following parts all remixed a little to adapt to the body:

Sliders (remixed-shortened and added slot for battery velcro)

https://makerworld.com/en/models/1256275-vanquish-vrd-carbon-narrow-sliders#profileId-1279737

Front body mount (remixed-added some height)

https://makerworld.com/en/models/713407-redcat-ascent-fusion-body-mount#profileId-643850

Rear Tube bed from Rc_VP https://makerworld.com/en/@rc_vp (what my rear body mount hooks too)

https://makerworld.com/en/models/1637394-1-10-toyota-crawler-bed-with-cage

Mounting is fairly simple and solid. Rear bed hooks into the rear bumper and front TPU clip pops over stock VRD front shock mount.  All you need to do is apply E6000 or favorite glue to the clip with it sitting on the chassis brace and slap the body onto it and let it dry.

Included with my parts is a short little “bed” that is mainly just a spot to mount a receiver box that blocks the hole at the back of the chassis. These alloy boxes are all over amazon but here's the link to the one I used.

Also on mine I am using some parts from Harley designs that fit really well. I am using both his Stance body front fender wells and his Interior for the cliff hanger and you can buy those here.  The interior cage and dash needed to be pinched 10% I think but they are really close.

Sliced all with PETG and just some TPU for the front clip. I used 85A tpu and it holds really well.  I recommend pushing the clip from underneath to get it to pop off(its a very tight fit only popped off while driving once so far in several battery packs). This mounts the body pretty low and there is a little tire rub in the front but it hasn't popped the body off for me ever. Let me know if you have any questions

12-21-25 Update-

>Found bed file had a tube that was not 100% infill-Corrected

>Found weak point in cab where hood screws to fender-added more infill via part modifier

>added slits via negative part modifiers on TPU clip in order to give areas to add E6000 to and make a better bond.

1-1-25 Update-

>Meshed front clip STL so it can be used on other printers

>Meshed slider files into STL so it can be used on other printers

>Added material to rear bumper (broke mine doing a vertical drop that hit grill first, its held up to a lot but I don't want ruin someone's day if it fails)

4-19-25 Update-

>Body files sourced from Jasonboz56 removed. Added note that VRD mullet chassis will not work with the body mounts.
