GRUMBLES THE GRINCH

In a slightly-less-than-jolly corner of the Whoville toy factory, the "Annual Cheer" machine was working overtime. On one side, it was churning out Cuddly Teddy Bears. On the other, it was making souvenir "Grumpy Grinch" figurines.

But after 10,000 carols and a million candy canes, the machine had a... disagreement with itself.

A vat of neon green "sulk-fluff" spilled onto the teddy bear assembly line just as the "maximum-pout" face mold was engaged. The machine tried to recover, defaulting to its coziest setting: the soft, cuddly bear-paws.

Clank! Whirr! BZZT!

Out popped... well, him.

He wasn't bad like the Grinch, but he wasn't jolly like a bear. He was the first toy to ever look at a perfectly wrapped present and just... sigh.

When the other toys sang carols, he'd cross his arms and tap his little bear-paw, deeply unimpressed (just like in the picture). When they tried to put a tiny Santa hat on him, he'd hide his face in his hands, as if the very idea of festive cheer was simply too much to handle.

He was Grumbles. He didn't want to stop Christmas, but he definitely wished it would keep the noise down. He soon found his perfect place: sitting on the mantle of the fireplace, just high enough to scowl at the overly sweet Who-pudding, a perfectly grumpy, cuddly guardian against excessive holiday silliness.

Printing Recommendations:

  • Orientation: This model is designed to be printed flat on its bottom for the best results and to minimize support needs on the detailed front.
  • Supports: Supports are recommended for the front-facing details, especially for the chin, mustache, and eyebrows, to ensure all the intricate overhangs print cleanly.
  • Layer Height: For a quality print, a layer height of 0.16mm is suggested.
  • Infill: 8% infill is sufficient for PETG
  • Filament Used/Suggested: Bambu PETG HF (Lime Green), Elegoo Rapid PETG Green, RAPID PETG Black, Sunlu PETG Yellow
