Fishing Plier Sheath

Fishing pliers are common equipment for anglers. I haven't found anyone making files for fishing plier holsters, so I made one myself

The belt clip was improved from Belt Clip from Zoki MakerWorld: Free 3D Model Download. Elastic loops and screw holes were added. The buckle angle was improved, increasing the locking firmness

20260519 Update: Some users experienced parts collapsing and detaching when trying to print, especially when using PETG. In view of this, I added supports to the sides of the plier holster part to prevent collapse. At the same time, the belt clip also underwent some improvements

For ease of printing, the belt clip is designed in two parts. I used two sets of M4X12 (15MM total length) hex head bolts, assembled and tightened with nuts and spring washers

The overall shape and dimensions refer to commercially available products

When printing with PETG, it is recommended to thoroughly clean the printing plate and apply glue to reinforce bed adhesion

After printing is complete, use a knife to cut off the side supports and brim

Pass the bolts through the belt clip and install them onto the holster body. The belt clip has screw holes on both sides, allowing for multi-directional installation according to personal preference. Note that the countersunk holes on the belt clip and holster body have different depths, so do not install the screws in the wrong direction

After assembly is complete, thread the fishing plier's lanyard into the lanyard hole. There are two lanyard holes, one upper and one lower. The upper hole is on the belt clip's elastic loop, and the lower hole is at the bottom of the holster, allowing selection according to personal preference

If you want to reduce noise when carrying it, you can apply fabric tape inside the holster for cushioning

Once complete, insert your belt through the belt clip opening, then close the buckle. To remove it, pull the locking lever on the buckle to open the belt clip
