Spacer for rear door stop buffer on panel vans

 

In panel vans that allow the rear doors to open beyond the 90-degree position, problems can arise. In conjunction with a hinged window in the rear door, a collision of the window pane with the bodywork is possible

This spacer, printed from TPU, is installed between the rear apron/bumper and the original stop buffer. Thanks to the TPU, it adapts to the curved shape of the bumper. Notes

The spacer should fit all Fiat Ducato, Citroën Jumper, Peugeot Boxer (from year of manufacture 2006, Type X250 and X290)

  • Are door check straps installed on the rear doors, so that opening beyond 90 degrees is not possible

Installation instructions
No additional material or special tools required. Only an Allen key (hex key) H6 is needed

  1. Remove the original stop buffer with an Allen key
  2. Place the printed spacer on the buffer. Please note that there is one part for the right and one for the left
  3. Re-tighten the stop buffer
