Description

A few years ago I managed to break a finger and needed a way to apply constant but gentle pressure on the joint. I designed this.

It uses TPU flexible bands which use a cog to tighten down. It worked surpingly well and is reasonably comfortable.

I printed the solid parts out of PLA, but PETG, ABS etc should be fine.

I woudn't use a -CF or -GF filament due to extended contact against skin.

Hardware required:

  • 1 x M5 x 20 hex head.
  • 3 x M5 x 10 cap head
  • M5 Tap (Not required but helps)

Thank you, great print. But were the: 3 x M5 x 10 cap head meant to be M4? and also x2 Hex Head M5 Bolts? - Still i got it working even with the straps being PLA, and just slightly heated them up with a hair drier and got the nice curve. Thanks again!

This cool. A solution that will help my finger recover from a dog bite. I appreciate it!
