“Why the Grinch Remained Alone”
Long before the Grinch hated Christmas, he wasn't so lonely at all.
He had someone – Grinchella, an equally green, equally twisted soul who loved chaos as much as he did.
They laughed together at the Whos, snuck through Whoville, stole small decorations, and argued over who held the better grudge.
But Grinchella had a flaw:
She believed – secretly – that one can be happy even without hate.
That one can mock the world and still love it.
One winter, as she saw the sparkling lights in Whoville, she softly said:
„Maybe it's not so bad if it sparkles a little…“
The Grinch didn't understand that. For him, Christmas was betrayal.
So their paths diverged – he retreated into his cave,
and she disappeared into the mountain fog.
Some say she traveled further north to build her own kingdom of ice.
Others whisper she is still there,
sometimes seen in the distance –
a green silhouette with a white bow,
watching over Whoville when the Grinch grumbles again,
so his heart doesn't become too small again.
