Light Test Box – Color & White Layer Tester
Print Profile(1)

Description
Anyone who has ever built a light box knows: color and light are not friends. 😅
This small test box shows how strongly a color glows at different layer thicknesses – before you start the next multi-hour print.
Front side: four rectangles in color, the rest is black.
Back side: a 0.2 mm white layer that has two tasks:
✨ It acts as a diffuser so that the light is evenly distributed.
🧩 It connects the individual color areas, as black and color would otherwise not have a stable bond.
The total thickness is 1 mm:
🔹 Field 1 = 0.2 mm color
🔹 Field 2 = 0.4 mm color
🔹 Field 3 = 0.6 mm color
🔹 Field 4 = 0.8 mm color
All fields are on the same white base layer – so you can directly compare which combination glows best.
A simple, but incredibly useful tool for anyone experimenting with light, color, and multi-color printing. 💡😏
