Description

- Look…

- We are miners... and the life of a miner is hard. We work diligently to mine as much gold, diamonds, and other gemstones as possible... To increase our productivity, we need machines. But, to tell you the truth, I'm starting to get fed up with constantly renting so many excavators and diggers and all the repairs they require. We need to grow…

- The other day, I found a new machine. I heard that they are already working with these on the other side of the world. It looks like I've managed to get my hands on a blueprint. I happen to know a mechanical engineer whose only passion is assembling and repairing massive machines. It's his obsession, or something... I was thinking of taking this drawing to him, as I heard he loves a challenge…

- But beware... Once the gold infects you, you can never escape... and the life of a miner is very hard work. This must not be forgotten…

- A fellow enthusiastic miner has infiltrated the production line and brought back the essential intelligence regarding this massive Bucket Wheel Excavator:

  • Completely 3D Printable (No Hardware Required!)

  • Primary Materials Needed:

    • PLA (for all structural parts)

    • TPU 95A (for the belts, rollers, and securing cables).

  • Support-Free Printing

  • Screw-less Assembly

  • Glue-less Assembly

  • Minimum Build Volume: 256x256 mm

  • AMS is not mandatory for production.

- A word of caution from the field: The assembly is a serious undertaking, but the final result will be truly EPIC!

- The machine's production went perfectly according to plan.

- We have compiled a comprehensive documentation detailing the entire assembly process. We are also planning to release the model's design files to the market.

- Here are some photos of the production
and the completed machine:

This Bucket Wheel Excavator is ready for work!

Help it break the surface with a Like, a Download, or a gold-standard BOOST!

Thank you very much! ⛏️

The excavator model is comprised of a large number of components. Due to the sheer quantity and to respect potential build plate size limitations (e.g., in Bambu Studio), I was unable to fit all parts onto a single build plate using the specified plate settings.

Therefore, the components have been divided and organized into multiple print files/profiles.

Please note that all components are ready for printing and have been pre-sliced/prepared within their respective, separately provided print profiles. You can proceed with printing all of them immediately.

Be advised that the complete set of components for assembly is included in the print profiles, exceeding the number of parts visible in the preview pictures.

First of all... I will not print it, as it is much too large for me and I wouldn't know what to do with it, or where to put it But I think it's great that you put so much effort into such models and make them available here All thumbs up 👍👍

No idea if I will ever print it, it would tempt me, currently I am a beginner. But an absolutely awesome model! How much filament does it need? My son would like it, I showed it to my wife and got rolling eyes :-D
