P2S Chamber Clearance Test ⧸ Don't Guess, Check It
Print Profile(1)

Bill of Materials
Description
I keep seeing more and more P2S chamber accessories that clearly haven’t been checked against the full movement range of the toolhead. Hygrometer mounts touching the build plate, camera covers grazing the printhead, that sort of thing.
![]() Designed as part of my ongoing collection of practical Bambu Lab upgrades. Each model is conceived, printed, and endurance-tested on my own machines, refined through dozens of iterations to match the printer’s true mechanical behavior. Precision isn't assumed here, it’s verified layer by layer.

This model provides a simple clearance check to confirm that any installed chamber add ons stay outside the normal toolpath envelope.
What does it do?
The model lays down a slow, wide trace along the outer perimeter of the build area, guiding the toolhead through every reachable X and Y extreme. This makes it easy to verify that your accessories leave enough space for standard printing operations.
If you want to check the Z clearance as well, lower or raise the Z axis manually after the print completes. Maker World does not support custom Machine G codes in print profiles, so any Z movement after the test must be performed through normal printer controls.
This approach ensures that chamber mounted designs are properly aligned with the mechanical limits of the P2S and helps confirm that everything fits cleanly inside the build volume without interfering with toolhead travel.
Please note: this model can also be printed on the X2D without any issues. However, the right nozzle of the X2D is not tested with this particular model. As a result, its usefulness as an X2D test model is limited. For that reason, I marked the model as not compatible, even though it can be printed on the X2D without any problems.
Part #21 in my P2Series Design Journey.

Support for this model helps fund 3D printing in a local school in Lower Saxony, Germany. Contributions go toward printers and filament for student maker and robotics clubs, including preparation for "Jugend forscht" competitions. Likes, follows, and boosts help increase visibility and indirectly support hands-on technical education.

Bill of Materials Notice: Hero Shot models are usually printed in Bambu Lab PLA Basic, primarily Pumpkin Orange, Purple and Matte Charcoal Black. The Bill of Materials contains the recommended filament for the model, which may differ from the filament used for the photos.
