Rumi Sword - K-Pop

Rumi Sword from K-Pop Demon Hunters. I did not like the options out there so I made my own. 

The blade splits in half for LED integration. The blade is held together utilizing an 8mm dowel rod, no glue required. It is suggested that you do glue the sections together at the alignment abs to ease assembly and installation.  I used too short of LED flexible filaments and left a bit of a dark spot but was also rushing before Halloween. You can use three blade sections if printing for children; blade base, a middle section and tip. I printed this for my five year old and the length was just right. There is a fourth blade section if intended for an adult. 

Use tree supports, the guard is best printed with a interface layers on the supports to create a clean surface.

When wiring use 65 ohm resistors at the positive end of the LED filament, this will keep the heat down and still give you a decent glow. The filaments must be wiring in parallel and not series.

There are other LED filaments out there and longer ones that would make the light integration simpler and cleaner. Use what you see fit. Hot glue works best to keep wiring clean and clear internal assembly.
