Today, smartphone cameras are becoming increasingly powerful – larger sensors, better lenses, and intelligent software deliver impressive results. However, there is still a lack of options for using high-quality photo and video filters, as known from classic photography. This is precisely where my idea comes in: Realme has equipped its GT8 Pro with the practical function of an interchangeable **decorative module**, which can be excellently used for creative enhancements.

The decorative module was provided directly by Realme for this competition, which gave me the opportunity to redesign it individually and expand its functionality. My idea was to adapt the original design so that a standardized 58mm filter connection (filter thread) could be integrated. This now allows ND filters, polarization filters, or color filters to be easily attached – just like with a professional camera. Thus, the GT8 Pro becomes a versatile tool for creative photographers and videographers who want to get the most out of smartphone photography.

The decorative module was printed with PLA Basic. I used PETG HF as a separation layer for the support. To ensure the filters can be screwed in accurately, I strongly recommend using my print settings. Caution: Be careful when removing the support!
