Description

🪸 Algae Feeder for Tang Fishes

This Algae Feeder is a 3D-printed seaweed holder designed for saltwater aquariums. It allows you to easily feed nori or algae sheets to tangs and other herbivorous fish without the food floating away.

šŸ’” Features:

  • Simple and practical design
  • Holds nori sheets securely in place
  • Magnetic mounting system for flexible placement on aquarium glass
  • Easy to print, clean, and assemble (no supports required)

āš™ļø Recommended Print Settings:

  • Material: PETG or ASA (recommended for saltwater use)
  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Infill: 30–50%
  • neodymium magnets works the best for higher glass thickness

āš ļø Important Note:

The magnets must be sealed to prevent rust or corrosion when exposed to saltwater.
I sealed mine with epoxy resin, which works perfectly and ensures long-lasting protection.
