H2D Side Stand (Plates / Glass Lid / HT Top Mount)

This is a build plate holder that can also hold the glass lid and the AMS HT Top Mount mod by Henryk. The reason for this design is that I need a place where to put my glass lid when I'm printing soft TPU, and also a place to put the Top Mount / Direct Feed mod when I'm not using it. I could not find any solution to my problem so I had to make it myself. Maybe this will help somebody else.

The slot for the top mount mod is the same used for the glass lid, as I will only need to hold one of them in the stand while I'm using the other:

Notice that the leftmost build plate slot is slightly wider, marked with a faint “L”, this is intended for a 2mm garolite build plate. If you don't intend to use such a thick build plate, and you don't like the plate in that location to be a bit more wobbly than the rest, you can use that space to store the Top Mount mod with the AMS HT holder attached:

I tried other plate holder designs but the vibrations always cause it to move. I cannot have that on my design if I intend to hold the glass lid securely, so this model is intended to latch to the printer. Make sure it clicks as shown in the picture below, and pull it gently to confirm is correctly secured. It can have some free movement back and forward but it shouldn't move away from the printer. Do not use it to hold your glass lid if it's not secure in place.

Also, I would recommend to stick a couple of felt pads where the top of the glass lid touches the printer, as shown in the picture:
