Prusik Knot Tender – Smooth, Simple, and Reliable Rope Adjustment

The Prusik Knot Tender is a lightweight, 3D-printed tool designed to make one-handed adjustments of your Prusik knot quick and effortless. Built with saddle hunters and climbers in mind, it helps streamline rope management and keeps your setup running smoothly as you climb or reposition.

This tender features two differently sized openings—one 16mm and one 12mm—to accommodate a wider range of rope diameters and ensure a snug, efficient fit for most setups.

Printed from durable PETG, it’s tough enough to handle repeated outdoor use while keeping weight to a minimum. While not intended for load-bearing, it’s a reliable accessory that helps maintain clean, consistent control of your tether line.

Whether you’re adjusting your position or managing friction hitches in the field, this simple yet effective tool keeps your system efficient, safe, and frustration-free.

Printing:

Painted Brim ears are highly recommended along the rings due to the minimal surface tension to the print bed. If you encounter a print failure, please double check that the painted brim ears are being utilized. 

Print Profile 1 includes the PETG version of the model - this is recommended for durability.

Print Profile 2 includes the PLA version of the model - infill is increased for added durability meaning this is still a useable version of the model.

UPDATE: Print Profile 3 includes a shorter model overall, at 76.2mm in length. Additionally, each opening is 16mm in size, equal on both sides.
