I printed it, but it is necessary to glue the PTFE tubes precisely. Then it works really well and is an alternative for quickly connecting the filament tubes. This saves you the hassle of dismantling the A1 AMS distributor.

Yeah, glueing them is better, i tried to make a really tight fit, which then resulted in some of my tubes fitting and some not. So i made it more loose. So all tubes fit :)

This is my modification / remix of this perfect design but the license won't allow me to share :( I added an extension for better grip. By joining it opposite you get even more grip. I also added a thread and nut so I don’t need to glue the tubes. The insert half can be used to cut the tube straight. Having it extended 2 mm before pushing and tightening the PTFE tube on the other end, you get a near flawless connection between the 2 tubes.

These are great and really handy! Made closed ended versions to use as caps when my dry boxes are not connected.

Amazing little print Thank you. I was just about to jump into CAD to throw a quick tube together, then i thought, Na, there’s gonna be someone out there taken the time to do it right and here it is. Printed in PLA CF and it came out perfectly first time 🙏🏼

Love it! Needed a quick and easy way to bypass my ams system for external spools and these connectors are easy to print and work really well! Thank you!!

The two parts don't hold together well, the snap-fit is too weak

I tested this with my H2S, P1S, A1 and H2D and it worked It could be that your nozzle is slightly clogged and you have under extrusion

Well, I have the same output as above - it is an easy print but they are not a tight fit. A1 Mini, new nozzle (stainless steel) did not make a difference. Maybe the filament (Amazon Basics) but the same also works perfectly fine for others. Not sure.

Unfortunately, the hose slipped out after the 2nd print. :( Nevertheless, a good print in itself

Well, I don't want to waste tubing, but let's see, maybe a longer power cable for the AMS first

Would not hold tubing firmly enough for AMS color changes. Tubing would come loose after each color change and require attention, had to find a different solution.
