Description
My Golf's rocker panel had seen better days. Simply covering it with fiberglass was no longer possible, so a base was needed first. So I printed one, attached it with body adhesive, and then sealed it with fiberglass mats and filler. It's rock solid again.
The part should be printed from PETG at least. PLA is definitely not recommended here.
In the pictures, you can still see my first version, which I then improved. Unfortunately, I then forgot to take pictures of the final version.
