I wanted to make a Tig torch holder for my welding table, which will work with Mig torches also. This print will require additional extras
6mm solid bar
1x magnet 50mm dia x 10mm thick x 8.5mm hole
1x M8 countersunk bolt
1x M8 nut
need a small amount of epoxy
This profile has two different designs, one horizontal and one vertical.
The 6mm rod is used to keep the Tig/Mig torch away from the 3d plastic. The depth of the hole in the design is around 19mm, and the horizontal design has two small holes out the back to allow the glue to seep out ( stops a hydrolock effect).
I believe the overall length of each 6mm rod is 70mm, and 19mm of this is glued into the design. Obviously, you may require a longer/shorter rod, customise how you wish.
The magnet i bought from Amazon, the search was 50x10x8.5 magnet, but see within the pictures of the ones I bought.
